The group arrived Sunday and we walked Calle Florida then to the San Telmo district (photos above) with the upscale shops but also people having fun with street performances such as the tango performances and singing.

We took taxis to a flea market and one of the shops had a lot of Third Reich memorabilia - perhaps this eagle clutching a globe with the Tierra del Fuego part of South America and the Neu Schwabenland section of Antarctica has a special meaning?  Lots of interesting stuff there!  There was also an old lady - teaching drums?????  Well maybe, but Chelsea Ellis apparently gets the idea in the photos below.

RALPH FRÖHNER tells us that the old lady's name is "Martha".  Thanks RALPH.

We sure ate well (above left) on this expedition as we do on any Sharkhunters "Patrol".  The hotel (upper right) is where Martin Bormann is said to have lived for a year after the end of the war - with two young women.

In the evening, the group walked around the area near our hotel and we shot these photos.

Above left - Dr. CHARLES ELLIS with his daughters HALEY and Chelsea.  Above right - he is waving to our cameras.  Below left we see Dr. RALPH FRÖHNER and HARRY COOPER also waving at the cameras.  This is a photogenic bunch......
