Captain George Chandler flew a P-38 LIGHTNING fighter in the South Pacific, where he shot down FIVE Japanese aircraft and became an ACE. Although he was not on the mission itself, it was his squadron that ambushed and shot down Admiral Isorokyu Yamamoto.
