Christian Reauleaux was a Fähnrich (midshipman or officer trainee) about the light cruiser NÜRNBERG until that ship surrendered in company with the heavy cruiser PRINZ EUGEN at the end of the war..

After being released from P.o.W. status after the War, Christian went to college and ultimately obtained a Doctorate in Law, although he never practiced law. He was a highly successful businessman until his retirement.
