Initially, a spook having graduated from the U.S. Army's Intelligence School and the U.S. Navy's Intelligence School, then went into flight training. He first was an Army Intelligence Officer then switched to the Navy and was stationed in the ONI, forerunner of the CIA. Once the Soviets built the Berlin Wall, Glenn was trained as a naval aviator and saw combat in Vietnam.....more than 300 combat missions.
