Georg Lassen was a Watchkeeping Officer on U-29 at the outbreak of World War II.  On 16 October 1941, he put U-160 into commission at the A.G. Weser shipyard in Bremen, and began his trip into history.  After many successful war patrols, sinking 25 ships totaling 156,032 tons, he was ordered to the training flotilla at Pillau (now Russian Baltysk) to train new U-Boat Skippers.

Remember, the writing you see on the photo here will NOT be on the hand-signed photo you will receive.

These photos are quite rare, as Captain Lassen has
not signed his autograph very much at all.

This hand-signed photo may be purchased for only $100 or both for just $175.
