     The Kehlsteinhaus, otherwise Known as
     "the Eagle's Nest"

This newly discovered DVD master shows the building of this famous teahouse in the Bavarian Alps, from its conception through its completion atop Kehlstein Mountain.  This DVD shows:
     *     the bare mountain before the planning and construction began;
     *     the planning and the beginning of the excavation;
     *     the location of where the tunnel entrance was dug, and its completion;
     *     and it shows the Eagle's Nest from beginning through completion.

       

There is a LOT more on this presentation, and this DVD takes you all through the Eagle's Nest – room by room by room with a lot of color shots!  Because the Eagle's Nest is now leased by a brewery and used as a restaurant, some of these rooms are not open to the public today.
