Castles  of  the  SS
        DVD-11

WEWELSBURG CASTLE
- mystical headquarters of Heinrich Himmler, where he planned the rituals of his KNIGHTS OF THE TEUTONIC ORDER.  The main tower, which housed the vault for the rituals, still stands and is in much the same condition it was when Himmler ran the castle.  Our camera captured the circular room where the great round table stood; into the ceremonial pit where the bodies of the fallen heroes would be cremated; and to the twelve pedestals along the walls of the circular pit where these ashes would remain in State for eternity.  You will see the huge swastika in the dome of the ceiling, the floor with inlaid marble tiles, each with a different symbol.  The camera takes you outside of a nearby building with the emblems of each SS Regiment still preserved in the wooden trim.

The inlaid twelve-limbed sunburst in the floor of the main ceremonial room.

The camera also takes us to beautiful and mysterious FISCHHORN Castle in the breathtaking Austrian Alps, where truck caravans brought tons of - nobody knows - into this castle where Reichsmarschall Göring sat with an American general at the end of the War, negotiating his surrender - & where US Army Intelligence officers located Frau Göring some months after the War, with some three dozen valuable art works.  This castle was said to have been an SS horse farm.  The current owners are most reluctant to have anyone looking at the castle.
