During one Feindfahrt (war patrol) off the American east coast, a cameraman accompanied U-552 and made a documentary film to be shown in Germany.  On this tape, you will see actual combat footage as it really happened, with a young Erich Topp (Sharkhunters Member from 1985) in command of the Red Devil Boot.

     

This DVD gives a very real look into life aboard a German U-boat in World War II.  It looks at the privations and the hard work as well as the pride after a successful mission.
