On this DVD (more than an hour long), Hans Göbeler tells of his time serving aboard U-505. He joined the boat in Lorient after the regular crew finished their working up trials in the Baltic and rounded England for France. He was aboard when the boat was captured by the USS GUADALCANAL Task Force on 4 June 1944 off the coast of Africa. This DVD has never been seen before and is only now being made available outside of Sharkhunters.
There is a lot of previously unknown history of U-505 on this DVD.
