Sharkhunters Member JÜRGEN OESTEN was commander of U-61, U-106 and U-861; was Flotillen Chef (Flotilla Commander) of the 9^th U-bootflottille and at one time was in charge of coordinating attacks against the Murmansk convoys.  OESTEN, who earned the Knights Cross, speaks about his combat in almost every ocean.

While OESTEN is not one of the more flamboyant or better known of the combat U-boat Skippers, he was very successful and tells a lot of history.

This was part of the 7 Skippers tape, which is no longer available.
